Use the Inventor PDF Publisher Job settings to configure a Job that publishes PDF files from an Inventor DWG or IDW file.

The Autodesk Inventor Professional application will need to be installed onto Job processors geared to process this type of Job.

Read through the below detail of options to configure the PDF Publisher Inventor Job settings.

PDF Vault Category Vault Category

Set a Vault Category that's to be assigned to the published PDF file.

Black Lines Toggle

Sets all line colours within the published PDF to black.

Note

Rendered/shaded Inventor views will remain coloured. This setting will only adjust line colours to black.

Remove Line Weights Toggle

The published PDF file will have all line weights removed.

Colour Mapping Property

The Colour Mapping configuration takes a given hex colour value and changes any Inventor layer that matches that colour into a different specified colour value.

Input the original colour hex code into the key field, and the desired colour into the value field.

Hex Colours

• #FF0000 is red.
• #00FF00 is green.
• #0000FF is blue.
• #000000 is black.
• #FFFFFF is white.

Note

Drawing View lines that have had an Edge Properties color override will continue to remain their overridden colour within the published PDF.

If certain lines are needing to remain a specific unchanged colour within the published PDF file as per the original Inventor drawing, override their colour using the Inventor Edge Properties command in the original Inventor drawing.
