Minute Controller Installation

The Minute Controller application is to be installed onto a Vault users workstation alongside the Vault Client.

Prerequisites

• Refer to Minute Controller System Requirements.
• Minute Controller License File (issued by Tentech)
• Local Windows Administrative privileges.
• Autodesk Vault Client installed.
• Download and install Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 64bit

Download Minute Controller

1. Check the version of your Vault Server implementation.
2. Download the corresponding version of Minute Controller from the Tentech downloads page.

3. Right-click the downloaded Minute Controller .MSI file and select properties. Unblock the file.

Install Minute Controller

Double-click the Minute Controller MSI installer and follow the installation prompts.

The extension installs into the following directory (substitute %YEAR% for the installed Vault version).

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Vault %YEAR%\Extensions\Tentech.VaultDocControl\Resources

Licensing Minute Controller

Copy the issued Minute Controller license file into the Resources directory on the workstation, double-checking that the license file hasn't been blocked.

TIP

Refer to the Activation Guide for further steps on unblocking

Enable Server Module

Minute Controller needs to be enabled via the MinuteView Console Global Settings.

1. Click Console
2. Click the Global Settings tab.
3. Expand Enable Minute Modules (_may require to click the green Add button if configuring for the first time)
4. Enable Minute Controller
5. Click the green save icon.

Verify Installation

With the above steps completed, Minute Controller should be installed, enabled and available to use on the users workstation. To check the install, open up Vault.

1. Click the Vault Help
2. Note Minute Controller Help as an indication that the module is installed and working on the workstation.

TIP

Minute Controller will need configuration prior to use. Please review the Minute Controller Configuration Guide prior to use.
