Getting Started with the Console

First Steps After Installation

Once MinuteView has been installed and you’ve entered the required SQL credentials and license information, the application will automatically direct you to the Console.

The Console is where all administration and configuration begins. On first launch, you will land on the Global Settings tab.

Global Settings – Initial Setup

Before you can begin using MinuteView, you must confirm or adjust the basic system settings in Global Settings and then click Save.

  • Until you save, the settings will not be applied.
  • If you attempt to navigate away, you will be redirected back to the Console until the configuration is saved.

This ensures that every installation of MinuteView starts with a valid configuration.

What You’ll Need to Do

  1. Review the default settings shown in Global Settings.
  2. Update any values if required (e.g., preferred login method, job log lifespan, automation engine URL).
  3. Once complete, click Save.

After saving, the system will apply your configuration and you will be free to navigate to other modules within MinuteView.

Next Steps

After completing the initial setup in Global Settings, you can:

  • Configure additional integrations (Vault, Service Accounts, Third-Party Apps)
  • Add and manage users in User Management
  • Set up Capture Templates or Mesh Sources if applicable
  • Begin building automations and workflows tailored to your environment

Key Reminder

🚨 You must click Save at least once in Global Settings.
MinuteView will continue redirecting you to the Console until this is done.
